September 4, 2018 - Greybull to Deadwood, SD
This morning we left our little eclectic Sage Motel headed for Deadwood in Black Hills National Forest. The day was not the warmest but kind of like riding at home. First we crossed the Big Horn National Forest on US Highway 16. The pass was right around 9,500 feet high and very scenic.

We started the day riding a amazing pass through the Big Horn the spent about 120 miles on I-90 incidentally at 90 MPH all the way. The last leg of the day was heading south along the western edge of the Black Hills the east to Deadwood. We had planned on camping but the weather said, "Not a good idea!" and we complied. Found a real deal at a Motel where we will stay for two nights before moving on to the Badlands.
