Today’s road took us through the through the Adirondack
mountains of New York. These mountains are not as dramatic as the ones back
home, but they are beautiful none the less. The forests are more mixed – firs
with deciduous trees and it makes for a beautiful tapestry of texture and
color. The architecture is picture postcard Americana. Beautiful Lakes abound,
and I wish we’d had the time to stop and rent a canoe, but a service
appointment for new tires in Vermont required that we push on. Sad!
