DELPHI - SEPTEMBER 13,2008 - Day 1

Our stop for the night was Delphi. We checked into our hotel which was typically small but very nice. The owner was a great guy, very friendly. It was too late to take in the sites but not to late for a nice outdoor meal outside next to the narrow roads where mopeds go zipping by with no lights ridden by helmetless and sanddled riders.

The dinner menu was greek salad, giant beans (yum), and tzatziki, all washed down with a local red wine.

The next morning we got up early and got serious. We started at 8:00 Am walking the site, which took the whole moring. By noon we had some refreshments after which went to the museum which just openened then. By 1:30 we were off on the road to our next desination Tolo on the Peleponesian Penninsula, via Corinth. I'll post some pictures below and above
